Who is responsible
Aedo is operated by José Luis Ponciano Bomfim, a natural person, in Talavera de la Reina, Toledo (45600), Spain. You can reach the person responsible for data protection at info@aedo.club.
Scope
This policy covers the Aedo mobile app (Android, distributed through Google Play) and this website, aedo.club. In this version, Aedo works without an account: there is no sign-up, no advertising, and no third-party analytics.
What data we handle

Why we use it (purposes)
- Let you build and study your collection of poems.
- Practice recitation, including optional voice evaluation using the microphone.
- Keep this website online and secure.
Processors and third parties
- Groq (United States): speech transcription (Whisper) and recitation scoring, only when you use voice evaluation.
- Hostinger: hosting for this website and its server logs.
- Google Play: app distribution.
Authentication, cloud sync, and in-app purchases are not part of this version. If they arrive later (for example Supabase, RevenueCat, or Google Play billing), this policy will be updated first.
Retention
Data on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Audio sent for voice evaluation is processed to return a result and is not retained by us for profiling. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operation.
International transfers
Voice evaluation is processed by Groq in the United States. Where you are protected by the GDPR or similar rules, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
Under the GDPR (EU) and the LGPD (Brazil) you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or object to processing. Because your app data lives on your device, you can delete most of it directly by clearing the app data or uninstalling. For anything else, contact info@aedo.club. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
Children
Aedo is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
Data stored on your device is protected by your device’s own protections. Traffic to this website and to Groq uses encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the latest change. Material changes will be announced within the app or on this website.
